If you’re anything like me, then you probably go on Youtube frequently and listen to classic themes from the different Legend of Zelda games. The Zelda series has become notorious for featuring some of the greatest soundtracks in gaming. Sure, none of the music is actually orchestrated (although that will change when Skyward Sword launches), but the rhythms of music from the Zelda series have a beautiful, grand sound that evokes a myriad of feelings within gamers.

That’s why if you enjoy listening to the music of Zelda, you’ll be glad to know that you can now download official soundtracks on Zelda Informer for various games from the series absolutely free of charge! The first soundtrack released for download was that of Twilight Princess (which I’m currently in the middle of downloading as we speak). You can also download soundtracks for Ocarina of Time and the latest addition, A Link to the Past. Just follow these links and download. You can choose songs one by one or download entire files with the whole soundtrack, which is pretty cool.

Soundtrack downloads for Majora’s Mask and The Wind Waker are listed as “coming soon”, and that definitely brings joy to this Zelda fan. We’ll keep you posted regarding any other downloadable soundtracks available at a future time. Now excuse me while I listen to the theme from Zora’s Domain.
